Drink #29 @ Casanova: Tall Whiskey and Soda
I was planning on a No Drink Day, though after midnight I wanted to change my mood.
I was trying to be social, but distracted by my cat allergies.
It was a good decision.

Day Eleven
Drink #28 @ Friend's House: Anchor California Lager
In general I don't drink beer anymore.
I visited a friend I'm about to catsit for, and he had beer to offer.
It made me tired, but it's nice to share a drink.

Day Ten
Drink #27 @ Stage Werx for VJ's Pajama Jam: Mimosa
My first One Drink Day (in a looong time)
I was planning on having a No Drink Day in the wake of last night's four martinis.
Then I was feeling down after work and considered having a drink at the jam.
When I arrived there were mimosas available, and it felt right.

Day Nine
Drinks #18-26 @ Friend's House:
Pomegranate Gin Martini
3 Pomegranate Vodka Martinis
Had a great night catching up with a friend I hadn't seen in two years.
He made dinner and dessert with lemons from his backyard.
We watched a couple comedy specials.

Day Eight
Got away with my third No Drink Day in a row, bringing my average close to two a day.
Tempted twice: once at dinner, once at PianoFight (hosted an improv jam, stuck to soda water).
Short-lived victory, though; tomorrow's going to be a Many Drinks Day.

Day Five
Last night cost me a couple of days.
I joined a group of co-workers to celebrate a friend's last shift.
We grabbed drinks at a bar, put our name in at a restaurant, grabbed drinks at another bar, and had drinks with dinner.
We went to another bar after, but I stuck with water there.
Drinks #12-13 @ Gold Dust:
Tall Gin and Soda
Gin and Red Bull (yes, it was as bad as you imagine)
Drinks #14-15 @ The Owl Tree:
2 Tall Gin and Sodas
Drinks #16-17 @ Ryoko's:
8 Cups of Nigori Sake (1oz-ish cup, 15% ABV)

Day Four
Drink #9-10 @ Tunnel Top:
Makers Manhattan, big enough to count as two drinks.
Drink #11 @ Side Bar
Whiskey and Soda, Tall. In celebration of a friend's birthday.
Averaging just under three drinks a day.
Hoping to slow down soon so I don't need a long dry span to bring my average down.

Day Two
Drink #5 @ Elbo Room:
Whiskey and Soda, Tall
One of my three improv practices today turned into a social event due to a misunderstanding, so I enjoyed a beverage over team conversation.
Drinks #6-8 @ Friends' Dinner:
Wine - La Crema Pinot Noir
Whiskey - Shot of Bulleit Bourbon (in coerced, belated celebration of my birthday)
Wine - Caves Saint-Pierre Vacqueyras

Day One
I drink a lot of alcohol.
I have friends who drink more than I do, but I drink a lot.
More than the recommended amount.
I've never felt like I had a problem with it, in an addiction sense.
I can take days off and not stress about it.
I usually don't start until nighttime, but I often don't stop before bedtime.
It's time to make a change.
I know it's in the best interest of my long-term health to curb my intake.
My body is still young, but getting older every year.
Today I start my year of 700 drinks.
No more.
Likely no fewer.
700 drinks in a year is a little more than 13 per week.
An average of two drinks per day seems achievable.
Some days I'll have more, some days I'll have none.
I'm having my first right now, a tall Bulleit bourbon and soda.
I'm drinking at PianoFight - a new theater in San Francisco's Tenderloin district - and just about to see my friends' sketch show.
Tonight feels like a four-drink night.
===
Yup, four Bulleit and sodas.
Finishing my last one at PianoFight and heading to The Room at the Clay
Here's a Chromebook typing test from Shaun P:
Hey how's it going what's happening with you? THis is b=pretty good Oh yeah this is cool I like this keyboard that was the main thing I was wondering about.
